Musician-Artist Collabs
Celebrity fashion collabs continue to be a popular form of excellent item releases. Let us get right into the several outstanding Musician-artist collabs happening lately!
I. Kid Cudi x Virgil Abloh collab in celebration to Kid Cudi's new single
Rapper Kid Cudi has plenty of great news lately. First of all, he made his first No.1 Billboard top 100 with his collaboration album "The Scott" with Travis Scott in late April (FYI, Cudi was born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi). Soon after, Cudi released a whole new single album "Leader of the Delinquents" four years since his first. To celebrate his new single album, Cudi reached out to his long-time friend Virgil Abloh, founder of Off-White and current director of Louis Vuitton men's wear, for another big project.
Out of nowhere, Kid Cudi dropped on his twitter account the limited time merch Kid Cudi x Virgil Abloh "PULLING STRINGS" T-shirt along with his album for purchase on May 19th. As the name suggests, the main design on the front side of the T-shirt is Kid Cudi pulling a string on himself. The puppet figure is in a post that refers to Cudi's most infamous moment on TMZ. Cudi, to express his frustration towards the tabloid news organization, leaned back on the side of his car while covering his crotch on the one hand and holding up his middle finger on the other to the cameraman.
The backside of the T-shirt has the name of his latest single album "LEADER OF THE DELINQUENTS" in artistic fonts underneath the collar.

Before this collaboration, the 18-year-old five-time Grammy award winner had already worked together with Murakami to create a viral music video for one of Eilish's songs, "You Should See Me In a Crown." The video features an animated version of Billie Eilish and graphics with elements of both Eilish and Murakami's iconic symbols, Blohsh and the flower, respectively.

Jason Derulo Quarantine Tiktoks
According to research, 88% of popular TV programs in the US last year are sports-related. As sports events are continually being pushed back until god knows when due to the pandemic, more people are looking at the increasingly limited options for something to watch. Most of them turned to cable TV and online streaming services like YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and so on. Besides the IG Verzuz battles mentioned in the last post, here is an interesting channel on TikTok you should check out.
Multi-platinum R&D singer and songwriter Jason Derulo, like many Americans right now, had been in home quarantine for quite a bit. While staying home, he kept his creativity flowing by making TikTok videos and earned himself quite some popularities on the platform.
